You don't have to send your design to some create your own t-shirt website to get a finished product. The other day, I got together with some friends and we all created our own t-shirts. We actually made a party out of it. It's simple, creative, and surprisingly cheap to have a create your own t-shirt party, and people come out of it with new, custom fashion. That is something that everybody likes.

The first step in your create your own t-shirt event is, of course, to get t-shirts. Next, you need to set up stations with supplies to create your own t-shirt. There are four basic, easy methods of t-shirt creation. The first is the direct approach. All you need hear is fabric markers and t-shirt paints, although stencils, spray paint, and rulers, can also be helpful.

I'll be giving away my age here, but I love creating tie-dyed t-shirts. What's cool about this is that my kids get a kick out of it also. This is something we have fun doing together. True they rarely wear them out in public, but we have fun together and that's what counts.

Finally, the most classic way to create your own t-shirt is silk screening. Basically, this involves a screen through which pain flows onto a tshirt, tracing past a pattern which can be made cheaply of Elmer's Glue. Silk screening gets beautiful, vibrant results, and one design can last for several, or even dozens of inkings. This means that you can use silk screen to create your own t-shirt in a variety of different colors for all of your friends.

And whatever method you use, and whatever you create, it will be uniquely you. No need to worry about seeing someone with the exact same design on your next shopping trip. That will certainly make you feel good, and if you do it right, you'll look good too.
