In the modern world it has become fashionable to eliminate any scent associated with being a human being. We have perfumed soaps and shampoos, we use deodorant to mask the smell of our sweat, and we coat our skin in fragranced lotions to make our whole body smell like fruit or baked goods. And as if that isn’t enough, we go a step further by topping it all off with a spritz of perfume or cologne just to make sure that any natural human odor will be masked by the sweet aroma of citrus or roses.
I'm not saying that's a bad thing, actually it's quite good. Let's face it, we humans can put out some really bad odors. I wear perfume myself, and though I’ve tried just about every type of perfume out there, Coty perfume makes some of my favorite scents.
Coty perfume is sold at drugstores and is usually pretty cheap when compared to high end department store perfumes. Some of the fragrances made by Coty perfume include white musk and Jovan Musk for Women. I have to be honest and tell you that I’ve owned expensive fragrances by Oscar de la Renta and Ralph Lauren, but every time I wear Coty perfume someone compliments me on how I smell and asks me what I’m wearing.
White musk is my favorite Coty perfume. I started wearing it about ten years ago when I got sick of wearing Liz Claiborne. Have you ever done that? I wore Liz for years and still love the way it smells, but I think it's only natural that we get tired of the same thing over and over. Variety is good. I mean, I love lasagna too but I wouldn't want to eat it for dinner every night.
At first I was hesitant to wear anything with the word musk in the name, because it conjures up images of sweat and smelly bodies for me. So I decided to try a brand that was inexpensive in case I decided I didn’t like it. Since then, I’ve bought several more bottles of this Coty perfume over the years to replenish my supply, and all I have to do is go to my local drugstore when I run out. With other perfumes, I have to make a trip to the mall when I run low. I know lots of women would disagree with me, but I just hate going to the mall.
Since deciding that I like Coty perfume, and it works well with my body chemistry, I have ventured into buying other fragrances made by Coty like Dark Vanilla and The Healing Garden line of after bath spritzers. The thing that all Coty perfume seems to have in common is that the fragrance is light yet rich, and they all seem to work very well whether I’m wearing it to the office or out after work.
The one drawback to using inexpensive perfume is that it is necessary to reapply during the day because the scent fades quickly. This is probably due to a higher concentration of alcohol in the fragrance, but regardless, the perfumes are so inexpensive to replace that it doesn’t really matter. And it still comes out to a lot less money than those high end designer perfumes.
