I bet you're a lot like me. I was always of the opinion that if it looks good, wear it. I was never a slave to brand names. And the brand name Cartier jewelry simply meant "big bucks".
I like gold, diamonds, precious gems, and fine watches as much as the next woman, but I wouldn't say that I've ever been attached to a particular brand. After all, when people look at a diamond ring, they're more likely to admire the stone itself than to inquire where I got it from or who manufactured it. As long as my rings, necklaces, and earrings looked fabulous, I didn't really care what brand was attached to them. At least, that's how I felt until I discovered Cartier jewelry.
Of course I had heard about Cartier jewelry before, and had even seen some pieces from their collection. But I always figured Cartier jewelry was way out of my league. If you have to ask the price you can't afford it, right? That was pretty much the situation I was in. But one day I had the opportunity to look at some Cartier jewelry close up, and I took a peek at the price tag. I was surprised to see that even though it was quite expensive, it certainly wasn't out of reach. I mean, I wouldn't have to mortgage my home to buy the watch I liked or anything like that. So I went ahead with the purchase.
It looked fabulous. And remember this website is about looking good to feel good. Well guess what? Even if others didn't comment on my look, they noticed something was different. It was evident by the way I felt.
I can't believe how different I felt while wearing my new watch! All Cartier jewelry is stylish, elegant, and luxurious, and my watch was no exception. To say that I was very impressed by the craftsmanship and sheer beauty of my timepiece would be an understatement. I own a bunch of watches because I usually prefer the variety, but I ended up wearing my new one all the time. I wore it to work, I wore it to go out with my friends, and I even wore it with jeans and a t-shirt on the weekends. Soon I wanted more Cartier jewelry to go along with my new watch.
Since I'm not made of money, however, I had to hold off until I had saved up enough to buy the ring I wanted next. While I was saving, I visited stores like Saks Fifth Avenue and other high-end retailers just to look at Cartier jewelry and keep myself motivated. I also started checking websites and auction sites to see if I could get better prices on Cartier jewelry than I was seeing at the mall. I actually did find some reputable websites that sell discount Cartier jewelry, which meant I was able to get my ring much faster than anticipated.
I couldn't be happier with my Cartier jewelry purchases! I just love the way the pieces express a quiet elegance without being gaudy at all. I don't think I'll be purchasing any other brand for a long, long time.
Of course that means I'll be spending a lot of time saving as well. We live in a society now that seems to feed on instant gratification. Something I've learned is that if you have to work for something, and wait for it, the gratification may not be instant, but it is appreciated that much more. So now I don't mind the wait for my Cartier jewelry. In fact, just last week I saw a great pair of earrings. I'm now in saving mode again. But that's OK. Because when I get them I'll feel good, and without a doubt I'll look good as well.
